Biopharmaceutical Grade TPE Tubing

A new formulation of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) tubing has been developed for fluid transfer in the biopharmaceutical industry: AdvantaFlex.

AdvantaFlex addresses the need for a flexible, translucent, sterilizable, moldable, heat sealable, and weldable bio- pharmaceutical tubing for fluid processing. AdvantaFlex maintains its physical properties following sterilization processes, resists kinking, remains translucent for visible product flow, and does not become gummy. Additionally, the unique properties of AdvantaFlex help it outperform similar tubing in peristaltic pumps.

Sold by standard coil length; longer standard lengths, such as 100 feet, are available on most sizes. Contact your AdvantaPure Sales Representative for details. Add length suffix code to product number when ordering—see the Coil Length Legend at right for length suffix codes. Example: 50 ft. of .125 in. I.D. x .250 in. O.D. tubing is product number APAF-BP-0125-0250L. Coils are supplied in heat-sealed polybags and bulk packed.

OVERMOLDED TRI-CLAMP® ENDS

A new option for sanitary connections is available . . . overmolded sanitary ends for PVC, TPE, and TPR tubing and hose. Injection molded from USP Class VI Hytrel® or polypropylene, overmolded ends feature Tri-Clamp® and mini Tri-Clamp styles.

GAMMA IRRADIATION SERVICES

gamma irradiation services

Have your AdvantaFlex single use system gamma irradiated before it arrives at your location and save the additional inventorying, transportation costs, and transit time.

Bagged and labeled products are picked up from AdvantaPure's facility and conveyed to a local gamma irradiation service provider. Using Cobalt 60 radiation, microorganisms and bacteria are destroyed while your single use system remains in its original packaging. Products are then returned to AdvantaPure for final inspection and shipment to your location.

A number of AdvantaPure's silicone and AdvantaFlex products, particularly those designed for single use, are available with validated sterility assurance of 10^-6 per ISO 11137 method VDmax. Contact us for more information at 1-888-755-4370.
