The Planet

Dedicated to being a sustainable member of the supply chain, at NewAge Sustainability isn’t a checkbox or a single project—it’s an evolving journey that touches every part of the business, from the raw materials we source, to the energy that powers our facilities, to the way we leave our planet for our people and partners. It’s about being thoughtful in every decision we make.

At NewAge Industries, sustainability is more than a goal – it’s a responsibility. That’s why we’re committing to set near- and long-term emissions reduction targets through Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) within the next 2 years.  The Science Based Targets initiative is an organization that helps companies play their part in combating the climate crisis.

What are Emissions?

Scope 1

Direct Sources

Emissions from sources owned or controlled by a company. Like fleet vehicles or natural gas usage from company operations

Scope 2

Indirect Sources

Emissions that come from energy a company purchases, such as electricity.

Scope 3

Indirect Sources

Emissions from the supply chain or services including 3rd party shipping, business travel or raw material manufacturing

As a manufacturer we recognize the critical role we play in reducing environmental impact. Our commitment to SBTi targets reinforces our dedication to:

  • Minimizing our carbon footprint across operations and logistics
  • Driving energy efficiency and renewable energy adoption
  • Partnering with suppliers and customers to reduce scope 3 emissions
  • Ensuring long-term sustainability for future generations

NewAge had ZERO Net Scope 2 Emissions in our US, Netherlands, and Hong Kong operations in 2024

Due to our progress and dedication to our current sustainability initiatives we’re already at zero net scope two emissions for our SBTi targets.  The following slides lay out all the activities that lead achieving that goal.

  • EV charging stations
  • Electric powered forklifts
  • High-efficiency Window replacement
  • Continual process improvements to reduce water and energy-use
  • Screens on all warehouse dock doors
  • Converted all warehouse and manufacturing lighting to T8 fluorescent
  • Automatic (On / Off) sensing lights
