AdvantaPure® Launches Its Newest Innovations at Interphex NY
New & Improved Items Generate High Interest Among Attendees

Southampton, PA — The recent Interphex pharmaceutical industry trade show in New York saw the introduction of several new and improved products from AdvantaPure, a leading supplier of sanitary tubing, hose, fittings, assemblies, and hose identification solutions. The company introduced new tubing and hose materials, new applications for RFID, and improvements to its Hose Track™ Hose Lifecycle Analysis System.

“Introducing these new items at the show was important to us,” said Ken Baker, AdvantaPure’s CEO. “It gave attendees the opportunity to see and feel our products up close, then ask questions about them. That’s something you can’t accomplish over the phone or in print.” Baker also noted the importance of seeing attendee reactions and interest to new products firsthand.

AdvantaPure’s new and improved items include:

• A new, Class VI, pharmaceutical-grade TPE called FlexiPrene™ that can be extruded as tubing or injection molded for components such as manifolds and assemblies. FlexiPrene is heat sealable, weldable, and does not contain silicone oil as other materials may.
• A new, more-flexible version of APFRC, the company’s rubber-covered FEP fluoropolymer hose. Two styles – heavy and lightweight – are now available.
• New uses for RFID (radio frequency identification) tags. P•E•T Process Equipment Tracking™ promotes the use of tags on various pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as pumps, bio-bags, diaphragm valves, ultraviolet lamps, and filters. The tags increase safety and reduce risk by eliminating dependency on handwritten records.
• Hose Track™, the unique hose assembly tracking system, was improved by the implementation of field-installable RFID attachment methods, allowing users to enable the tracking process on equipment already in use, and by making the system Bluetooth® capable.

AdvantaPure also created a gentle buzz on the show floor with its “Let us give you a hand” theme. The company gave handheld, stress-relieving massagers, shaped like a hand, to qualified attendees. The theme was supported by graphics explaining how the company’s products and services offer advantages relating to regulatory compliance, validations, reduced risk and stress, and product reliability.
