Southampton, PA — The AdvantaPure™ division of tubing and hose manufacturer NewAge® Industries is proud to announce the availability of our new APFRC Rubber-Covered FEP Hose. Manufactured from materials meeting FDA standards, APFRC is offered to the pharmaceutical, biomedical, food, cosmetic, and other clean-application industries.

APFRC begins with a smooth, non-stick core of virgin-grade FEP fluoropolymer in either white or conductive black. The core is overbraided with layers of tightly-woven fabric and steel wire reinforcement, then jacketed in teal-colored EPDM rubber. A total of seven layers makes APFRC a strong, durable product and dramatically enhances its pressure-carrying ability.

Benefits of APFRC:
• Rated for either pressure or full vacuum (29.9 in./Hg.) applications
• Pure FEP core does not impart any taste or odor to critical streams
• No fluid flow restrictions
• Temperature range: -40°F (-40°C) through 350°F (177°C)
• May be sterilized or autoclaved with a maximum internal steam temperature of 406°F (208°C)
• Outer jacket protects the hose from rot, ozone, radiation, and environmental exposure
• All APFRC hose is documented lot traceable

Five standard hose I.D. sizes are available from stock: 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/2”, and 2”. Custom sizes, as well as white-covered hose, private branding, or special packaging, are available, and for complete hose assemblies, customers may choose from a variety of crimp-type fittings.
