Southampton, PA — AdvantaPure™ announces the immediate availability of our new APSH Reinforced Silicone Hose for clean applications. The translucent, platinum-cured hose is Class 1000, clean room manufactured to meet the critical service demands of the pharmaceutical, biomedical, and biotechnology industries and is an excellent choice in other clean application markets such as food, beverage, and dairy. The product’s features also make it quite suitable for chemical applications.

APSH Reinforced Silicone Hose has undergone rigorous biological, physical, and chemical testing to ensure its suitability for critical uses. Manufactured from low-volatile grade silicone, APSH meets USP Class VI, FDA CFR 177.2600, ISO 10993, and 3A standards. The polyester yarn braiding within the hose walls gives it much higher pressure capabilities than unreinforced tubing — up to 775 psi burst pressure, depending on size.

AdvantaPure’s APSH is manufactured in a certified, Class 1000, HEPA-filtered clean room and is platinum cured. These processes make up just part of the product’s cleanliness. APSH is sealed in polybags immediately following production in our clean room environment, lessening the opportunity for dirt and germs to come in contact with the hose. Each bag is labeled with the product’s description, dimensions, and traceable lot number, then transferred to a segregated, low-particulate-level warehouse for storage.

Despite its braid reinforcement, APSH is extremely flexible. It handles temperatures ranging from -100°F (-73.3°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) and may be repeatedly sterilized using autoclave equipment. APSH imparts no taste or odor to critical streams, and it resists chemical attack, moisture absorption, compression set, and degradation from ozone, radiation, and environmental exposure.

Available in 50 foot coil lengths, APSH is available in ten sizes from .063” I.D. through 1” I.D. Each bagged coil of APSH is supplied in an easy-to-store white box, labeled with identifying information. Special sizes, coil lengths, and packaging, as well as bulk-supplied hose or Nomex® braiding, are available on a custom basis.
